A Christian author whose son died years ago, before the baby had turned one year old, says wherever our griefs start, there is always a path forward, sometimes reliant on a new focus and new perspective. When people focus only on the past – or only on themselves – sorrow can be hard to shake. Grief is not erased, but has less power whenever a hurting person is able to help another hurting person.
