Kids Corner – Good Enough

Sam is helping Joel and Everett prepare for softball season via video chat. It raises the question: how does God want us to prepare to live for Him? Thankfully, Mr. Jacobs joins in time to discuss! (Scripture: Romans 12:1, 1st Corinthians 9, John 15:2, Isiah 64:6, Philippians 2:12, and Ephesians 2)

Kid’s Corner: Redeeming The Time

Kyle and Destin are bored out of their minds on Mr. Jacob’s online hangout site when Ms. Tabitha joins. Destin wonders if it is wrong to be bored, and Ms. Tabitha does her best to explain! (Scripture References: Philippians 2:14, 1st Corinthians 10:10, Colossians 3:17 and 23, and Philippians 4:8.)

Kids Corner: Helpless To Help!

Laura, Olan, and Mr. Jacobs are hanging out on the online chat when Flora joins with an urgent problem! It looks like there’s something that God wants her to do, but how can she be sure? Mr. Jacob explains that sometimes God gives us a chance to be a small part of something bigger. (Scripture: 1st Corinthians 13:5, Deuteronomy 22)

Kids Corner – Gentleness (Re-Run)

Mr. Jacobs and the kids are mini-golfing (hurray for outdoor activities)! Laura’s having a hard time, though – the ball keeps going further than she wants. Mr. Jacobs has some good mini golf tips – and life tips – about being gentle. (Scripture: Proverbs 12:18; Titus 3:2; Proverbs 15:1)

Kids Corner – Guarding Minds

There are probably some movies you’re not allowed to watch – and there’s also probably a good reason for that!  Well, Everett doesn’t think there’s a problem with his favorite TV show, but Joy and Monica don’t agree.  With God’s Word, some friendly advice, and a story about a pair of lightning-fast plumber twins, Mr. Jacobs teaches us about guarding our minds.  (Scripture: Proverbs 6:27; 1st Corinthians 15:33; 1st Timothy 6; Mark 7:15; Jeremiah 17; Ephesians 4; Colossians 3:2; Proverbs 4:23)

KC – Girls Vs. Boys (Re-Run)

Everett and Laura are trying to settle a debate: who’s better at video games, boys or girls? It turns out, they have a problem that goes a bit deeper than just video games. Mr. Jacobs steps in to explain to the feuding two and Monica how God specially made and loves us all. (Scripture: Genesis 5; Romans 3; Psalm 14:3; Romans 3:23; 1st Samuel 25:18-42 [Abigail]; Joshua 2 [Rahab]; Exodus 2:4, 15:20 [Miriam]; Genesis 29 [Leah]; Acts 16:14 [Lydia]; 1st Samuel 1 [Hannah]; The Book of Ruth [Ruth]; Judges 4 [Deborah]; Acts 18 [Priscilla]; Galatians 3:28)
