Binghamton author Marcie Phelps joins me for this 12-minute conversation based on Generous Kids, her book to help parents teach children to handle money well.

“God does require us to train up our children in the way they should go,” Phelps says, “and finances is no exception.”

“Sometimes parents don’t teach their children because they feel inadequate,” she says. “Maybe their finances are a mess, or they have regrets, and the truth is that there is never any shame or condemnation with God. He can fix anything. It’s never too late.”
