Two Supreme Court rulings affirm protections for religious employers.  Under one, employers are exempted from providing contraceptives, including those leading to abortion, to employees.  The second ruling safeguards churches and religious schools from employees filing discrimination lawsuits pertaining to the entity’s mission/values.  Randall Wenger, chief counsel for Independence Law Center, unpacks the cases.
